Christmas kickstarters: LGU, PNP, BJMP staff shines on Christmas Cheers

Last night, employees of the Local Government Unit of Ligao City, together with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), have once again performed in their best suit. This time, however, not as public servants but as entertainers showcasing their talents to bring joys to LigaoeƱos.

Behind their busy desks and mountains of paper works are public servants with hidden talents. Employees from different departments and offices of the local government have presented their creative performances that brought more life to the spirit of Christmas.
The BJMP group rendered a Christmas carol while the PNP group showcased their funny side as they perform their dance presentation.
Ligao City Mayor Patricia Gonzalez-Alsua said that the event is not only a showcase of talents but a showcase of team work, coordination, and collaborative efforts of everyone.

Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod (left) also joined their staff in the performance while a second batch of performers rendered equally laudable presentations with the first batch.
The event is also a kickstarter to more performances of private and public schools in the city. The Christmas Cheers will run from 15 December to 4 January 2015.
